Recenty digging into the world of chiptune jazz music (wtf, heh?) my mate gave me a listen of this, which is definitly not chiptune, nor jazz, but glitchy chipstyle (or cheapstyle;) ) midi bossanova/latin, etc compositions.

Max Bunker Midifiles Akestra: Midifile°_p’o'p’_°party (Plastiqpassion) [discogs]

Because of this “latin” thing the closest artist that comes to mind is Atom Heart (Midisport).
